Creating the Perfect Guest Bedroom
The festive season is approaching, friends and family will be making arrangements to come and visit. It's important that your guests feel at home during their stay, so see below for some tips on what you should consider whilst preparing for their visits.
Provide adequate storage
Nobody wants to be living out of a suitcase whilst they're away from home, so freeing up some space for their belongings is a good way of making them feel at home.
Comfort is key
What makes ou feel comfortable might not be the same as what your guests feel. It could be a good idea to leave extra pillows and blankets out for them, whilst also advising them how to change the temperature in their room incase they're too hot/cold.
Another nice addition is to leave a couple of glasses and a jug of water beside their bed to save them wandering around in the night looking for a place to get a drink.
Create the right atmosphere
It's important to make your guest feel welcome, so have a good declutter before they arrive and only leave the essentials out for them.
Create the perfect sleeping environment
Probably the most important tip, and one we can certainly help with! Your guest bed needs to be a quality piece of furniture, you don't have to spend a fortune on it, but something moderatly comfortable always helps.
