The OBW Adaptive Pocket 1000 Divan Set

Divan Base

All our 'Elegance' divan bases are manufactured using sustainable softwoods and upholstered with traditional woven fabrics.

They are platform top as standard with a cushioned layer under the upholstery.

All of our bases come with 2 large draws and 2 continental draws at the head-end, allowing space for bedside tables. 4 Large draws may be requested at no additional cost.

Available in a huge variety of fabrics/colours, again please visit or call our showroom. Images of fabrics can be sent via email if required.

All our 'Elegance' divan bases come with chrome glides.

 

The Mattress - Adaptive Pocket 1000

The OBW's classic and best selling combination pocket mattress will give you years of good service.

The Adaptive Pocket 1000 is a generous 20cm deep mattress and combines a top layer of high density foam with foam encased individually responsive pocketed springs for edge to edge support and no 'roll together'.

The quality soft to the touch quilted cover adds an extra layer of comfort.

This mattress offers a firmer feel, with excellent support for the back and spine.

Featuring a 10 year core guarantee.

 

Board Base

The classic type of divan base, it has a solid board which the mattress sits on, ensuring support. Also known as ‘Platform Top’, it is a tried and true type of divan base.

 

Non-Turn

Easy to care for a non-turn mattress never requires flipping just rotating 180° once in a while. Almost all the best mattresses now (including memory foam and latex mattresses) are one-sided.

 10 Year Guarantee

10 Year Guarantee

This product carries a 10 year manufacturing guarantee. Should any manufacturing defect occur within a full 10 years of you receiving the product, the guarantee covers you for a replacement.

 

Reflex Foam

Similar to memory foam, Reflex foam (also known as Visco foam) does not mould to you as much but responds and bounces back quicker. This enables Reflex Foam to also be able to form the support structure in some mattresses, sometimes replacing a spring system.

 

UK Manufactured

Rest assured in the knowledge that this product has been manufactured in the UK, meeting all British safety regulations and standards.

Delivery

Our store is situated in Poole, Dorset but our website has been set up to allow anyone to purchase! We have tried to keep the delivery process as simple as possible, so here’s a quick run through on what we can do.

All deliveries are FREE but timescales are dependent on products. Our “in store only” category will show you all the products that are available to take home with you or have delivered the same day (if you live within 20 miles). You can visit our showroom to try these out.

The rest of our website categories will show you the delivery lead times on each product. 

In store only products

These products can be found in the first tab on the header of the website. Many are unique to the OBW in Poole, Dorset and are in stock in store. This means we’re able to offer same day delivery or your day of choice if you live within 20 miles of our store. All products will be delivered to your room of choice. 

All other Products

Next Day Deliveries (FREE 1 man service | all day)

Purchase any next day delivery product before 1pm and we can deliver the next day. If you do not want next day you will need to let us know at the time of ordering. All next day deliveries are via a 1 man service to the front door of your property. Please note, if you are purchasing a next day delivery product with a longer lead time product, the timescales are independent to the product. Next day deliveries run from 8am - 6pm.

3-5 Day Lead Times (FREE 2 man service | Room of choice |

We will contact you within 48 working hours to arrange a suitable day of delivery for any orders placed for products with the above advertised lead time.

Returns

No fuss returns

If you are not happy with your purchase you can return it, just call or email our customer service team within 10 working days from the date you received your item. Please note the following:

  • All returns/collections need to be arranged by us in advance.
  • All returns must be collected by our delivery company, we do not allow any other courier to be used.
  • Make sure any items being returned have not been used.
  • All items must be unopened in their original packaging.

 

* Please be aware that unless you are within a 20 mile radius of our store a courier charge of £45 will be deducted. In the unlikely event that the goods are faulty this charge will not apply.

* All refunds will be processed as soon as the goods have safely been returned to us. 

Damages

If on delivery the packaging of a product is damaged, you should mark this on the courier’s delivery note in order to be able to make an effective claim for damaged goods.

If you believe that the product may be damaged you must reject the delivery, mark this on the courier’s delivery note and request the courier to ‘Return to Sender’. Please then contact us either by phone or email us at customerservices@theobw.com with the details.

Any damage to the goods, which only becomes apparent after taking receipt, must be reported within 24 hours of delivery. Customers are requested to provide photographs showing the damage, which will need to be emailed to us at customerservices@theobw.com.

You may request a replacement or cancel the order and receive a refund at the point that we collect the Goods.
